A modern ritual of transmutation of desire through tantric practices and wisdom of the plants
From Lust to Life
June 28, 2025
You know it so well.
That itch that begs to be scratched. That itch that, once scratched, only burns stronger. The frustration of “Is this it? I want more!”—that knowing, deep inside, that something more exists, yet somehow, it remains just out of reach.
And the more you chase it, the more elusive it becomes, slipping through your fingers like air the moment you try to grasp it.
“I can’t get no satisfaction”
Desire. Lust. Craving. We all know them. We long for love, connection, and intimacy—but often mistake them for attraction and lust. When we meet someone who mirrors our longing, our sexual energy ignites. And what do we do? We scratch the itch. We chase the high. We seek that peak.
It feels like there’s no other way. The urge is overwhelming! Staying present with it seems impossible.
But is it really? Or have we just been wired to chase? Dopamine rewards us when we get what we want, but what goes up must come down. And when the pleasure fades, we crave it again—only to find the law of diminishing returns at play. The first taste is bliss. The second, a little less. By the third, it’s not the same anymore.
We are wired to seek what we need—safety, connection, sex, food, shelter, power, status. It’s in our nature to pursue them, to secure our survival as a species. Nature doesn’t care if we’re happy or fulfilled; it cares that we adapt, reproduce, and endure. And craving? That’s the tool it uses to keep us chasing.
The more you want it, the more you suffer. The more you are attached to “getting it“, the more it slips away.
The feminine path of embodyment
But is there another way? A way to find fulfillment without endlessly chasing, to step out of the rat race?
Yes. Ancient spiritual traditions recognized that our suffering is deeply tied to our desires—our craving, our attachment, our need to grasp. Two paths emerged in response: the yogic masculine path of renunciation and the tantric feminine path of embodiment.
In our temple, we celebrate life by embracing it fully. Through tantric practices, we learn to feel everything—pleasure and pain alike—allowing them to exist without needing to act on them. This is not a path for the faint of heart. Desire is powerful. It pulls us, consumes us, demands to be fulfilled. But this practice is for the courageous heart—the one that chooses to stay open, no matter what.
Here, we bridge the material and the immaterial, the body and the spirit. It is easy to walk the familiar road, seeking instant gratification, chasing fulfillment outside of ourselves. It is much harder—but infinitely more rewarding—to let go of wanting, to stay with what is, to embody life-force energy and let it move, circulate, and transform.
Do you find yourself caught in the cycle of desire—seeking, acting out, but still feeling like something is missing?
Do you long to feel more—beyond just chasing pleasure?
Do you ever wonder if there’s more to sensuality and sexual energy than just release?
Are you curious about what lies beyond regular sex—the deeper layers of intimacy, connection, and presence?
Would you like to learn how to hold desire instead of letting it control you?
Are you ready to explore what happens when you allow life force energy to move through your whole body, instead of rushing toward release?
Do you want to discover a different way to relate to your sensuality—one that nourishes rather than depletes?
Then this ceremony is for you
Meet the facilitators
Welcome, traveler, to our modern-day temple—a space where tantra meets the wisdom of plants. Here, we honor the sensual and the sacred, not through indulgence, but through deep presence. This is not a space for acting out desires, but for learning to hold them.
Ours are ceremonies, not playgrounds.
Here, we work with life force energy—not to express it outwardly, but to turn inward, to feel, to expand, and to integrate. Sensuality is welcome, but this is not about sex—it’s about reclaiming the full spectrum of our energy in a conscious and sacred way.

Ioana
I have been on the tantric path since 2019, and have trained extensively in both classical and neo-tantric methods, bringing a unique blend of wisdom and humor to my offerings. Drawing from Osho's teachings, Mahayana Buddhist philosophy, and my certification as a tantra teacher from Samma Karuna in Thailand, I combine these influences into my work. I am passionate about bridging ancient tantric wisdom with modern science, and deeply interested in how these practices can help regulate the nervous system, shift limiting patterns, and expand consciousness—offering a glimpse into the deeper mysteries of life itself.

This is not a sexual event. All practices are done fully clothed and in a safe, guided space. We work with sensual and sexual energy, but there is no genital touch or fluid exchange. The focus is on cultivating awareness, feeling energy in the body, and learning to hold and circulate it rather than acting on impulse.
